Yay! You filled out your user-interests, and apparantly founds some cool communities. It figures you got into kayaking AFTER I left. :) I have a kayak, but it's up in the attic of my parents' house. Maybe I should let you use it until I can get it out here somehow so it's not just sitting up there?

I love 1940's clothing, too! I've decided I'm going to start dressing like Jeniffer Connoly's character in A Beautiful Mind.
I loved the way she dressed in "A Beautiful Mind"! I think of those clothes longingly when I am trying to find something I actually like in stores now. (Which rarely happens) As for kayaking, Dan bought some and we went out on Lake Champlain and I loved it. He is never home for me to use his though lol. How big is yours? I don't have a rack, so I would have to put it in my little Aveo.
It's about 13.5 feet long, if I remember right. It's an ocean/lake touring kayak, as opposed to the river kind. I have the foam blocks you can use to put it on top of your car with straps, too, but that's definitely a two-person job.
Have you checked out Spiegel lately? They've got some classy stuff. I was just looking at their online catalog today. Also, Izaak Mizrahi's clothes at Target are starting to get a really classy 40's/50's feel, especially some of the dresses. I'm going to get a bunch when I go back-to-school shopping.

You go to "Manage" on the top bar of the main page, and then go to "userpic" and you can upload up to six with a free account, I believe. THen when you post, at the bottom there is a place you can click to choose which icon you use for a post.
